These healthy, gluten free pancakes will become one of your favorites. Quick and easy to make and nutrient dense make these a perfect post workout meal!
½ Cup Quick Oats ( 1 minute oats)
½ scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
¼ cup egg whites
1tsp ground flax seeds
1tbsp almond milk (or milk alternative)
- Using a blender (eg. Magic Bullet) Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. If the batter is too thick, feel free to add a bit more milk until it is the consistency of a pancake mix.
- Heat non stick pan.skillet on medium to high heat (yu can lightly spray with oil spray), pour pancake mix into about 3-4 inch circles. Make sure pan is hot before pouring mix.
- Let it cook on one side about 1 minute until you see bubbles forming, then flip and finish cooking on the other side.
- This makes about 3-4 4inch pancakes.
TIP: Enjoy with 1tbsp PB or Natural Maple Syrup
